About Me

Welcome! I am delighted to introduce myself to you. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, I have developed into a confident and accomplished young woman. Currently a rising senior at Southwestern University, I have actively immersed myself in various campus organizations with a mission to promote inclusivity, equality, and challenge the existing norms. Basketball has been an integral part of my life for 14 years, and through this incredible sport, I have cultivated meaningful connections that have contributed to my personal growth and success. Guiding and mentoring players, ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Off the court, I value my time and strive to utilize it effectively. Embracing new connections and seizing fresh opportunities are core to my values. Making a positive impact is a driving force in my life, and I am dedicated to leaving my mark wherever I go and in every endeavor I undertake. R’Yani is a marketing and engagement intern for the Center for Integrative Learning on the campus of Southwestern University. By partnering with faculty, staff, student organizations across campus, local community agencies, and educational programs, the Center for Integrative Learning support high-impact learning experiences, including internships, civic engagement, study abroad, and faculty–student collaborative research.

“My job is to showcase students involved in high-impact experiences through social media and our symposiums as well as help those looking for internship and engagement opportunities," said Vaughn.
